Who is Flock?

Flock Safety provides the first public safety operating system that empowers private communities and law enforcement to work together to eliminate crime. We are committed to protecting human privacy and mitigating bias in policing with the development of best-in-class technology rooted in ethical design, which unites civilians and public servants in pursuit of a safer, more equitable society.

Our Safety-as-a-Service approach includes affordable devices powered by LTE and solar that can be installed anywhere. Our technology detects and captures objective details, decodes evidence in real-time and delivers investigative leads into the hands of those who matter.

While safety is a serious business, we are a supportive team that is optimizing the remote experience to create strong and fun relationships even when we are physically apart. Our flock of hard-working employees thrive in a positive and inclusive environment, where a bias towards action is rewarded. Flock Safety is headquartered in Atlanta and operates nationwide. We have raised over $380M in venture capital including a recent Series E round led by Tiger Global. Now surpassing a 3B valuation, Flock is scaling intentionally and seeking the best and brightest to help us meet our goal of reducing crime in the United States by 25% in the next three years.

The Role

As a Manager, Recruiting Operations, you will take the charge of crafting a highly engaging experience for our team, candidates and hiring partners. Your expertise will ensure an authentic, engaging, and efficient interview process. You will shape and have a significant impact on how Flock Safety attracts, engages and hires talent. Work with recruiting leaders, finance, HR and others to continue to improve the headcount approval process. Identify and bring to light key recruiting projects and programs such as a Bar Raiser program, referral programs, workforce planning and headcount requests, projects that improve recruiting efficiency and more.
  • Data Analysis: You will work inside our current tools Gem and Greenhouse to derive insights from recruiting data. You will assist our Director of Recruiting and other recruiting team members with pulling data for executive reporting, QBRs, and year-end reviews. Work with TA leaders to develop and measure recruiting KPIs, build out candidate quality trackers and more.
  • People Management: Oversee our recruiting operations team, comprising of two recruiting coordinators. Mentor, grow, train and hire.

We're looking for people who:

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management, operations, or recruiting operations role, preferably at a VC backed, high-growth company
  • Prior experience leading a small team
  • Proven project/process management experience: from recommending and implementing process improvements to serving as a key liaison with external and internal partners to document, approve, and implement changes
  • Experience managing and owning vendor relationships with recruiting and recruiting operations software such as Greenhouse, Gem, Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter and more.
  • Prior success leading candidate experience and interviewer training programs as well as onboarding programs for new recruiters.
  • Success in creating onboarding and centralized hubs for recruiting teams to share knowledge and consistently improve.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data and feedback to drive continuous improvements in the recruitment process
  • Bias towards action and operational access with a strong attention to detail
