About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer to join the Front marketing team to manage, build and optimize Front.com. You will have ownership of our website technology stack to optimize and improve it, creating best-in-class customer experiences for new leads and existing customers. You will take charge of continually optimizing our publicly-facing pages based on business data and internal needs while advocating for modern technical solutions / enhancements to help scale our existing processes.
What will you be doing?
Own front-end web development projects from scoping through implementation and optimization.
Partner closely with our additional members of our marketing, design, and content and teams as a technical stakeholder to influence and drive project outcomes.
Redesign web pages and update existing sites based on high-fidelity designs.
QA and troubleshoot website Ul, performance issues and bugs when they arise.
Support design and development of a/b tests and other website optimization efforts.
Follow and communicate industry best practices on web development such as accessibility, website performance and site architecture.
Support website sprint management with scoping, setting stakeholder expectation and proactively communicating potential risks/delays.
What skills & experience do you need?
At least 4 years of front-end web design & development experience developing and deploying changes across high traffic, public-facing websites.
Fully fluent in spoken/written English.
Programming Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript
Specialized experience building websites and/or web apps in React/Next.js
Experience working in CMS systems such as WordPress, Craft, Contentful, etc.
Experience with debugging and QA in staging and production
A history of deploying well-documented changes with Git
Experience Working Within Multiple CSS Design Frameworks
References to Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Chakra, etc.

Public Website Portfolio
A portfolio website with example projects or presentations in lieu of a public website.

Previous Webmaster / Individual Contributor Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience running websites (webmaster)
Experience being the primary single developer or working in small teams (3-5 developers)
Experience Building Websites And Components
Significant experience building new website designs from Figma, Sketch files
Experience with atomic design and managing design systems with tools like Storybook
Experience Working With Forms and Validation
Experience building and debugging input forms, multi-step checkouts or signups
