Global IT Operations Technician (Help Desk)

Weave is looking for a dynamic addition to our IT Operations Team! This person will primarily be responsible for simple account management, distributing equipment, provisioning laptops, preliminary troubleshooting, and organization. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, who cares about their work and the needs of others, and who can complete work in an innovative way. This position will allow you to learn and gain an understanding of working in a corporate IT environment.

  • This position will be onsite at our Lehi, UT HQ and the schedule will be 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Reports to: Manager of Global IT Operations

What You Will Own (Responsibilities)

  • Facilitate the setup of laptops for new hires
  • Inventory Management and Organization
  • Assist with desk setup for individuals working in the office
  • Provide basic in-office support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues and replenishing/replacing equipment as needed
  • Managing and distributing tickets through the Help Desk ticketing system

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job (minimum qualifications- education, experience, certifications, skills)

  • Basic knowledge of computer equipment and IT equipment
  • Ability to lift objects and assemble workstations
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Time Management
  • Continual learning: The world of IT is always evolving. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices is essential.

What Will Make Us Love You (preferred qualifications- including personality traits)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Experience with MDM systems like Airwatch and Kandji
  • Familiarity with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
