The role will be assisting in processing data for the monthly payrolls across our APAC entities.
This is an operational position that requires a hands-on approach to payroll processing. You will be expected to work within a clear framework using your payroll legislation knowledge while driving accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of payroll processing within an outsourced payroll provider.
In this role you will:
- Support monthly APAC payroll processing including but not limited to time and attendance, base salary, payroll taxes, pension, statutory and supplemental benefits.
- Knowledge of statutory tax and social security withholdings, related tax filings, tax policy and employment regulations.
- Support working relationships with payroll service providers, government authorities and People team in Mainland.
- Provide payroll and tax data as required by government authorities and internal customers.
- Support legal compliance and internal audit activities related to payroll operation.
- Assist Payroll Supervisor with year-end processes.
We are looking for:
- 3+ years of APAC payroll experience.
- Knowledge of payroll, time and attendance, HRIS and self-service systems for a mid-size service provider (UKG, Ceridian, ADP Celergo).
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with a high sense of urgency to research and resolve inquiries(internal/external) and respond in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strong command of written and oral English is required.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
- Experience working for a multinational company.
