Senior Content and Social Media Marketing Manager

As a Senior Content and Social Media Marketing Manager, you'll spend your days crafting engaging content and managing social media strategies that align with Lob’s brand vision. You’re fiercely creative, a narrative-driven thinker and predisposed toward collaboration with others as you plan and execute content campaigns. Your role will involve editorial planning, content creation (from concept to delivery) and social media management.

As the Senior Content and Social Media Marketing Manager, you’ll…

  • Plan a comprehensive editorial calendar that aligns with integrated campaigns, events, and other initiatives across the organization.
  • Craft assets from start to finish, cultivating a distinct tone/voice as well as experimenting with new concepts and formats for the content program.
  • Build a promotion strategy for new content, and measure success to hone performance over time.
  • Manage Lob’s social media profiles, deploying a variety of creative strategies to keep audiences engaged and build the social following.
  • Bring an SEO-oriented mindset to help improve and optimize search presence.
  • Serve as the last-mile editor of content created by members of the team or organization.

Work to be accomplished in the first 6 months...

  • Establish a refreshed content and social media strategy that drives an increase in traffic and engagement.
  • Build out a quarterly editorial calendar that aligns with upcoming organizational initiatives.
  • Successfully launch + promote at least two major content campaigns that align with broader marketing goals and demonstrate measurable success.

Work to be accomplished in the first 12 months...

  • Further enhance our content distribution approach, testing digital platforms and approaches to expand organic draw.
  • Launch a co-marketing or partner initiatives that expands our reach into new audiences.
  • Consistently produce high-quality, impactful content that supports strategic business objectives and leads to a growth in audience interaction.

What will you bring to this role…

  • At least 5-7 years of specific experience in Content Marketing and Social Media Management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute winning content strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills to oversee multiple projects.

  • Creativity and an eye for design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Compensation Information:
The compensation for this position is structured to include a base salary + RSUs. Base salary bands are listed below.

CA/NYC Tier:

Base: $140,000.00 - $157,500.00

US Tier:

Base: $132,500.00 - $147,500.00


“Lob’s salary ranges are based on market data, relative to our size, industry and stage of growth. Salary is one part of total compensation, which also includes equity, perks and competitive benefits. Salary decisions are based on many factors including geographic location, qualifications for the role, skillset, proficiency and experience level. Lob reasonably expects to pay candidates who are offered roles within the provided salary ranges.”
