Partner Development Manager, Technology Partnerships

As a PDM you are working to grow Lob’s awareness, influence, and pipeline through customer referrals from professionals at your top partnership account. You will accomplish this by building a network within the walls of your partner. Your target audience includes Account Executives, Solutions Consultants, RVPs and AVPs, and other experts and key stakeholders. Your goal is to establish relationships, introduce Lob and the value of direct mail, and earn your network's trust to get them to refer customers to Lob. This is a better-together story that elevates the value of your partner. Partnerships are at the core of Lob's and our partners' value proposition. We need Lob to become the direct mail partner of choice for target verticals which drives value for both the customer and the partner. The partner of the highest value for this position is Salesforce.

This role requires a can-do attitude and thrives on building relationships. It is an action-oriented role focused on a long-term strategy that requires persistence, patience, and consistent action to grow the business. As the Partner Development Manager, Technology Partnerships, you’ll…

  • Set 1:1 meetings with partner sellers (Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, etc.)
  • Demo the Lob product and sell the value of direct mail as part of the Salesforce customer journey
  • Create opportunities for Lob to participate and attend live events to grow your influence and build opportunities for Lob to sell our product.
  • Uncover new opportunities for Lob to expand our business within Salesforce
  • Expand the awareness of Lob across industry verticals, horizontally across product groups, and with stakeholders of all levels at Salesforce.

What will you bring to this role…

  • 3-5 years of SaaS sales and account management experience with Salesforce, Salesforce vendor, or Salesforce ISV or SI partner
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business within a single account - expansion
  • Demonstrated sales excellence, completed sales training, and understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to manage metrics, reporting, and goal attainment
  • Experience creating account plans that have shown success in growing business
  • Ability to navigate complex relationships
  • History of building long-term relationships
  • Desire to work in a results-driven organization in an ever-changing tech landscape
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Not hesitant to reach out to someone you don’t know…yet

Compensation Information

The compensation for this position is structured to include a base salary + RSUs. Base salary bands are listed below.

CA/NYC Tier:

Base: $87,500.00 - $102,500

US Tier:

Base: $82,500.00 - $97,500.00

“Lob’s salary ranges are based on market data, relative to our size, industry and stage of growth. Salary is one part of total compensation, which also includes equity, perks and competitive benefits. Salary decisions are based on many factors including geographic location, qualifications for the role, skillset, proficiency and experience level. Lob reasonably expects to pay candidates who are offered roles within the provided salary ranges.”
