Senior People Specialist
As the Senior People Specialist, you will be pivotal in creating a seamless experience for candidates transitioning to employees, ensuring they feel supported and engaged from day one. You’ll manage and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain employee documentation, employee benefits, and play an integral role in employee experience initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to meet operational needs, support compliance efforts, and contribute to an inclusive, connected workplace.
As the Senior People Specialist, you’ll work on…
- Onboarding/Off-boarding: Lead the end-to-end onboarding and immersion programs, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition and strong foundation within the company. Facilitate new hire orientations to support employee integration and alignment with company culture. Assist with offboarding tasks, in conjunction with the People Operations team.
- Employee Experience: Drive initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience, including planning engagement events, supporting distributed work practices, and managing wellness programs. Act as a champion for a positive and inclusive workplace environment. Facilitate Community Ambassador program, supporting our distributed workforce in connecting within their local communities.
- HR Systems & Document Management: Oversee employee data updates, manage personnel files, and monitor workflows to maintain efficient operations. Conduct regular audits of personnel files and HRIS to ensure compliance with documentation requirements. Maintain company systems such as corporate phone number, whistleblower hotline, etc.
- Documentation & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain and audit People Notion pages, such as the New Hire Hub and Manager Hub, to keep resources current. Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Talent and other departments to support HR initiatives and organizational goals.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits-related processes, including employee inquiries, enrollment updates, and coordination with providers to ensure seamless benefits administration and an excellent employee experience.
- Vendor Management: Manage People team vendors and contracts, ensuring budget adherence, contract storage, renewal management and making recommendations to People leadership on vendor improvements. Vendors include but are not limited to benefits, co-working spaces, compliance, employee brand platforms, etc.
What will you bring to this role…
- 4-6 years of experience in HR operations, benefits, or a similar role
- Familiarity with HR systems and personnel file compliance, Paylocity experience a bonus
- Established knowledge of Human Resources (employment laws, diversity initiatives, etc).
- Strong experience in benefits administration
- Expertise in employee engagement initiatives
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Creativity and resilience in engagement initiatives
- Exceptional communication for cross-functional collaboration
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive approach to improving processes and employee experience
Preferred Degrees and Certificates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus

Compensation information:
The compensation for this position is structured to include a base salary + RSUs. Base salary bands are listed below.
CA/NYC Tier:
Base: $115,000.00 - $132,500.00
US Tier:
Base: $107,500 - $125,000.00

Salary is one part of total compensation, which also includes equity, perks and competitive benefits.
