Medivis is recruiting a lead software engineer to help build the future of surgical augmented reality. This is a venture-backed and award-winning company focused on solving core problems in surgical navigation using augmented reality and computer vision.

As lead engineer your responsibilities include:

-Leading the development on critical projects including 3D rendering, computer vision, surgical tool tracking, and 3D data segmentation
-Growing a talented technical team and providing mentoring and support
-Shipping and maintaining a product which will be used by thousands of doctors to safely operate on patients
-Guiding product through FDA regulation
-Promoting an environment of collaboration and efficiency

Desired experience:
-Over 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on 3D programming, and maintainable, efficient-code design
-Have shipped and maintained product
-Experience working in a collaborative team environment
-Experience in medical software and the DICOM standard is a plus

Ideal Skills
-Masters or Ph.D. in computer science
-Experience with C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, GML, OpenGL
-Experience in graphics programming, e.g., OpenGL, DirectX
-Experience developing for the Microsoft HoloLens, Magic Leap or VR
-Experience with Unity or Unreal game engine
-A strong track record in video game development
-Experience working with clinical partners – strong plus
