About the Team

We’re seeking an exceptional Finance Solutions Developer to join our Finance and Data Systems team. The Finance Solutions Developer will partner with stakeholders throughout Accounting and Finance to identify opportunities to more effectively use our systems, propose solutions, and implement enhancements and new technologies. The ideal candidate will have a high propensity for problem solving.

Role Responsibilities:

This position will be involved in the implementation and ongoing daily support of business applications, working closely with the organization’s departments, vendors, contractors, and to implement and maintain these applications.
Consulting with functional departments and Analysts to identify necessary definitions or changes to systems. Design, develop, configure and unit test systems functionality changes.
Coordinating with other IT areas who are responsible for file transfers, security administration, reporting, databases and other functions. Understanding of applications that are supported within a team, including how to deploy applications, customizations, design, and configuration.
Help investigate and resolve system design and technical errors. Troubleshoot on systems and data, and generate solutions which may include systems modifications, enhancements or new procedures. Report, track, and resolve application related issues with internal and vendor support organizations. Identify and analyze operational and systems issues and opportunities and produce effective solutions.
Prepare technical design specifications, develop solutions and create unit test plans, test scenarios and test scripts.
Communicate effectively orally and in written form with multiple stakeholders within and across IS teams and business counterparts.
Demonstrate broader systems thinking.
Execute and deliver work thoroughly and with high quality; learn from mistakes and apply learning. Understand and manage inter-dependencies of work.
Support end-users through UAT.
Interpret and apply complex technical instructions and specifications.
Management of specific work items and/or projects, including: planning, scoping, estimation, status reporting.
Organize work, set priorities and meet critical deadlines.
Regularly demonstrate empathy and positive attitude in performing work and in working with others.
Share knowledge, insights and work among team members and partners.
Work effectively and professionally with all caregivers and leaders.
Organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
Partner with the Finance Engineering team to support internally developed software initiatives and integrate internal solutions into NetSuite and other finance systems.
Key team member in systems security & SOX compliance

Skills Needed:

5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting NetSuite solutions
Strong knowledge of NetSuite SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder
Strong SQL ability
Experience with API integrations between NetSuite and Finance Systems
Experience with NetSuite integrations and customizations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
NetSuite certification is a plus
