As a Senior Manager on the Finance and Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in building our F&S presence in India. By collaborating with internal business partners in India and your U.S. counterparts, you will be a go-to resource for India leadership and will oversee the entire India P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting. Your expertise in establishing structure and creating scalable financial models and processes will be invaluable in supporting the organization’s growth.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact and trusted advisor for all Finance and Strategy matters related to India operations, and collaborate closely with India leadership to align financial objectives with overall business strategy and understand operational levers that impact the financial wellbeing of the business
- Assume complete oversight of the India profit and loss statement (P&L) and budget, analyzing financial performance to identify key drivers of variances and provide actionable insights to optimize financial outcomes
- Own monthly and quarterly Budget vs Actual reporting for India, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting, and providing key business insights and outlooks while quantifying risks and opportunities in achieving forecasts
- Be a go-to resource for India leaders and business partners, offering accurate guidance and support on Finance and Strategy-related initiatives, and providing mentorship to enhance financial acumen across the organization
- Establish and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with key internal business partners to develop and implement effective financial processes
- Lead the development and maintenance of financial models for India-related spend, incorporating forecasting and scenario analysis, and generating ad hoc reports as needed to support decision-making
- Pay meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Partner with the business to support strategy and decision-making, lead ad hoc financial modeling and analysis, and build detailed financial, scenario based models to evaluate investment priorities and potential alternatives
Skills Needed
- A minimum of 8 years of finance experience, including at least 5+ years in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
- Experience in working under US GAAP and accrual-based accounting
- Fluent in Microsoft Office suite / Google suite
- Familiarity with Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or other financial planning software
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with the ability to change or pivot based on business needs
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster trust with an executive team and cross-functional business partners
- A stellar work ethic, a high degree of self-motivation, and a desire to grow with the company
- A goal-oriented mindset, as well as being bright and kind
Bonus points if
- Experience with SQL
