Position Description

As the SEO Manager at Orderful, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic to generate leads. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that align with our business goals and maximize our organic and paid visibility. Your expertise in SEO best practices, coupled with your analytical mindset, will enable you to identify opportunities for improvement and drive measurable results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our content, metadata, and technical elements are optimized for search engines and user experience.

About You

The ideal candidate for the SEO Manager position at Orderful is a proactive and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of SEO best practices and a proven track record of driving organic growth. You are not only analytical and detail-oriented but also creative and strategic, with the ability to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with business goals. You are collaborative, communicative, and capable of working across various teams to ensure cohesive and integrated SEO efforts.

Your Primary Responsibilities

Monitor and Analyze SEO Performance:

  • Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates.
  • Perform competitor analysis to understand market trends, benchmark our performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Generate detailed SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Optimize Page Metadata and On-Page Elements:

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and phrases that align with user intent and business objectives.
  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, alt tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and relevance.
  • Ensure that content is structured and formatted to meet SEO best practices, including keyword density, internal linking, and readability.

Technical SEO and Site Improvements:

  • Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site architecture, URL structure, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO recommendations, including schema markup, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps.
  • Stay abreast of algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure that our SEO strategies remain effective and compliant with search engine guidelines.

Content Strategy and Optimization:

  • Work with content creators to develop and optimize engaging, high-quality content that aligns with SEO goals and user intent.
  • Assist in creating compelling ad copy and landing page content that drives conversions and enhances user experience.
  • Ensure that all content is optimized for relevant keywords and follows SEO best practices, including the use of multimedia elements and social sharing features.

Collaboration and Training:

  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure SEO strategies are integrated into overall marketing and product development plans.
  • Provide training and support to team members on SEO best practices, tools, and strategies to build a culture of SEO awareness and excellence.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all SEO-related queries and initiatives within the organization.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with business goals and drives sustainable organic growth.
  • Identify and prioritize SEO initiatives based on their potential impact and feasibility, ensuring a focus on high-value activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine SEO strategies based on performance data, industry developments, and emerging trends.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO research tools is required.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
  • Proficiency in technical SEO best practices, including site architecture, page speed optimization, and mobile-friendliness.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

Analytical Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking.

Content Skills:

  • Strong background in content strategy and optimization.
  • Ability to create and optimize engaging, high-quality content, ad copy, and landing page content.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development.
