- We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic team, where you will play a key role in driving our talent acquisition efforts and support the HR function. In this critical position, your main focus will be the entire hiring lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding exceptional talent that aligns with our company values and growth goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about identifying and engaging top talent. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Talent Management
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, building pipelines, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring decisions, and managing the recruitment tools (Rippling ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent, including employer branding campaigns, networking strategies, and outreach efforts.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key roles, ensuring timely hiring for current and future needs.
- Design and execute an engaging and seamless onboarding process, fostering new hire integration into company culture and workflows.
- Administer all new hire documentation and processes, such as preparing employment contracts, coordinating background and reference checks, and managing onboarding logistics.
- Manage offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews when needed, coordinating termination meetings, and ensuring compliance in access revocation and documentation.
- Support with employee engagement initiatives, including organizing monthly social events, engagement Slack channels, Learning Lounges, etc.
- Conduct employee feedback surveys and oversee follow-up actions to address employee concerns and improve engagement.
- Manage the employee recognition program, celebrating achievements and fostering a culture of appreciation.
- Oversee the performance review process using tools like 15Five, ensuring timely and constructive feedback from managers.
- Support career development initiatives, including the Career Hub and Learning Lounges, ensuring employees have access to effective learning opportunities.
- Negotiate and administer employee benefits and compensation structures, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements, managing all related training and audits.
- Adaptive: Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities, market trends, and hiring demands, demonstrating flexibility in managing ambiguity.
- Proactive: Takes initiative to identify and engage top talent, build robust pipelines, and improve hiring processes to meet company needs effectively.

- Detail-Oriented: Pays close attention to the nuances of candidate profiles, interview processes, and hiring workflows, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Resilient: Maintains focus and positivity in the face of challenging hiring goals, tight deadlines, or difficult-to-fill roles.
- Collaborative: Works effectively with hiring managers, team members, and external partners to understand hiring needs and achieve shared goals.
- Ethical: Upholds the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism, ensuring a fair and equitable hiring process for all candidates.
- Communicative: Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external networks.
- 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition in the software industry.
- 2+ years of HR generalist experience
- Must have proven experience scaling teams from Series A to C, with a focus on Sales and Marketing.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Must have experience managing an ATS
- Knowledge of HR software tools and platforms like 15five or Rippling is considered an asset
- Adept at handling sensitive information with discretion
- Exposure to Canadian federal / provincial and US federal / state-specific employment laws
- Able to travel at least twice a year for company offsites
