The Role
solution development and implementation activities related to the integration of applications and
technologies within the organization's application integration environment. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, proficiency in data structures, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role. It is the Integration Specialist’s mission to ensure customer business needs are successfully scoped and executed.
Responsibilities:
The Integration Specialist works with onboarding managers, internal development teams, customers, and 3rd party consultants to engineer and deploy the integration component between Ottimate and the customer’s existing ERP systems
This role is responsible for training users on the integration functionality and ensuring the Integration is customized to the customer's unique business needs in order to successfully communicate data between the Ottimate and the client’s systems (ERP, inventory, etc.)
The Integration Specialist is also responsible for being a designated subject matter expert in the Integration Component on designated ERP systems, becoming the go-to resource for issues pertaining to the specified platform that exceed beyond applicable team knowledge
Consult, advise, and build data mapping standards based on the customer’s specifications and their business and operational needs
Responsible for managing integration timelines and keeping projects on track working jointly with the Engineering team
Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and their resolution
Diagnose, document, facilitate, and manage customer integration needs requiring higher-tier resource involvement
Responsible for managing expectations in the capabilities/functions of integration components to customers, implementation specialists, and third parties
Configure and ensure expected functionality on technical components of the customer account
Required Skills:
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
Ability to interpret technical requirements to meet customer needs
Well-developed independent troubleshooting skills
Consistent capability to independently manage workload and schedule
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage scheduled appointments and customer needs
Confident and independent decision-making skills to complete assigned tasks
Strong experience with scripting and data manipulation/management languages (SQL, JSON)
In-depth knowledge of a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Strong logical ability to analyze and predict product implementation roadblocks and action items
1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Full fluency in English
BA/BS degree
