The Role
The Sales Development Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales Development and will be responsible for the daily management and performance of one of our sales development teams. You will play a key role in achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets, while fostering a positive and productive team environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who is not afraid to jump right in and make an immediate impact. We are looking for a gritty, resourceful team player with a passion for the success of SDRs. You should be comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone, eager to learn new things, and driven to exceed expectations. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully in-person position based in our Tampa office.

What You'll Do
- Team Leadership: Build strong relationships with team members to identify areas of opportunity, coach, and provide individualized support to drive success.
- Performance Management: Monitor and maintain regular performance metrics and reporting, ensuring that activity levels and targets are consistently met.
- Recruitment & Growth: Network, hire, and support recruiting efforts to scale the SDR team as the company grows. Assist in onboarding and training new hires to ensure they are set up for success.
- Training & Development: Conduct regular trainings and continuous education sessions for SDRs, helping them develop the skills needed to meet and exceed their objectives.
- Meetings & Reviews: Lead 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews with individual SDRs, the team, and leadership to provide feedback and align on goals.
- Strategic Planning: Generate and implement ideas for future growth, team culture, and collaboration, contributing to the long-term success of the department.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executive (AE) teams and AE leadership to ensure smooth transitions of leads and alignment on sales strategies.
- Innovation: Bring creative solutions to challenges and think strategically to enhance the effectiveness of the SDR team and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
What You'll Need
- Experience: 1-2+ years of proven and successful experience managing an SDR team in a fast-paced, B2B technology company.
- Coaching Ability: Proven ability to understand, develop, and coach individuals to achieve their career goals and drive team success.
- Sales Skills: Experience with prospecting and lead generation, with a deep understanding of the sales development process.
- Training Expertise: Experience in partnering with Sales Enablement to develop and deliver effective SDR training programs to help the team hit key objectives and initiatives.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, G Suite, and other relevant platforms.
- Collaboration: Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with AE teams and AE leadership to align on strategy and ensure successful outcomes.
- Networking: A strong social presence for networking and recruitment purposes, helping to attract top talent to the team.
- Location: Based in or around Tampa, FL or St. Petersburg, FL.
