Postion Overview:
The VP, Strategic Finance will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of Panorama. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and oversee a small team responsible for strategic financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP will provide critical financial insights and recommendations to support the company's growth and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making at the executive level
- FP&A Leadership: Lead and mentor the FP&A team, overseeing the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success, to provide financial guidance and support. Partner with department heads to drive financial performance and operational efficiency
- Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including scenario planning, to evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Develop financial models to assess the impact of various business decisions
- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the company's financial performance. Provide regular reporting and insights to the CFO, CEO, and other senior leaders
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial stability and compliance with relevant regulations. Develop and implement internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead and participate in special projects and strategic initiatives, such as capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and new product launches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance
- Proven track record of success in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Salary: The annual base salary range for this role is $228,600 - $304,800
The “Base Salary” range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary range involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of Panorama’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual bonus or commission awards, equity awards, as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
