What we're looking for
- 6+ years relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment building and scaling infrastructure using engineering practices with languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
- Fast-growing startup experience is a must
- Experience with linux OS, monitoring, and alerting
- Expert-level understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6
- 2+ years experience in a 24/7 operational environment
- Understanding overlay and underlay networking concepts
- Demonstrated experience with software-defined networking solutions
- Experience with architecting, maintaining, and scaling high performance network architectures
What you'll be doing
- Providing hands-on technical design and engineering for network architecture and reliability
- Monitor the network and resolve any issues
- Provide support to customers with network issues
- Managing network capacity and providing forecasting for future network needs
- Collaborate on network automation solutions
At Paperspace, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $125,000 - $200,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Incentive Stock Options, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
