The Role
Partiful is changing how we gather, and sports are one of the most important reasons why we gather. From watching games together, to tailgating, to playing pickup games, to joining rec leagues, we make some of our best memories as casual players and fans.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping Partiful power these moments for millions of users. You will drive Partiful’s growth in key U.S. sports markets, owning all sports-related initiatives—community, marketing, partnerships, and product improvements—to engage fans and player communities and amplify Partiful’s impact. By connecting sports fans and activities with Partiful’s powerful platform to facilitate gatherings, you’ll play a key role in building communities and memories that last a lifetime.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for increasing events and MAU growth within sports use cases and fan and player communities
Craft compelling GTM strategies to increase user adoption within sports communities across cross-channel growth & marketing initiatives, partnerships, and product improvements
Execute end-to-end on GTM, including running marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and partnerships to drive growth, while communicating progress regularly
Conduct frequent user interviews to uncover insights to inform tactics and prioritization of initiatives
Build relationships and become a trusted partner with the external organizations we work with
Partner with teammates in Marketing and Community, soliciting input on projects to inform your strategy
Collaborate closely with Design and Product Engineering to incorporate product improvements that increase Partiful’s resonance and utility for sports-related use cases and communities
Success in this role will lead to a full-time role where you’ll have the opportunity to own overall company strategy around sports initiatives.
You're likely a good fit if:
You understand the levers that drive growth across marketing, community, and product
You have strong familiarity with most major U.S. sports, from college and major leagues to amateur and casual play (e.g., pickup games, rec leagues)
You’re not just passionate about sports—you understand how they intersect with culture, from social media trends to community dynamics, and can leverage this insight to drive engagement
You’re scrappy and resourceful, and can carry initiatives and campaigns from ideation to execution
