The Role:

Plate IQ's mission is to make accounts payables and payments effortless for businesses. We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (SDET) responsible for developing end to end test automation and framework for Plate IQ services. You will be responsible for identifying poor customer experience by extensive automated (and if required, manual) tests. The responsibility is to build the right test automation on the most relevant layer. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to enhance the user experience. You should be innovative, creative, flexible, self-directed, and understand quality assurance procedures and methodologies.

You will:

Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to continuously refine software test requirements, provide feedback on user scenarios, and ensure the product's quality.
Work closely with developers to clarify functional requirements, test case reviews, and determine test automation requirements.
Implement test design and work on test automation development and test execution.
Write robust automated tests for high availability and scalable products.
Contribute to improvements in unit testing coverage, design test framework
Expand automated testing and automation scenarios/cases.
Drive implementation of metrics and frameworks for production monitoring of services

You have:

Min 4 years of professional experience writing comprehensive automated tests and UI testing using Selenium
Clear understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
Excellent analytical skills
Good experience with testing web and backend applications (UI, databases, APIs, etc)
Fluent programming skills in at least one coding language
Strong communication skills and are able to explain complex technical topics to the entire team in a clear and concise way.

Nice to haves:

Experience with any CI tool is a plus
Experience with load/performance testing is a plus
