Reddit is a community of communities. It’s built on shared interests, passion, and trust and is home to the most open and authentic conversations on the internet. Every day, Reddit users submit, vote, and comment on the topics they care most about. With 100,000+ active communities and approximately 73+ million daily active unique visitors, Reddit is one of the internet’s largest sources of information. For more information, visit redditinc.com.

The Reddit of today is built on top of communities (subreddits) where conversation happens daily about millions of different topics. There’s a gap for people who want to have casual conversations in a lively and immediate way due to the forum-like structure of Posts and Comments. The Chat team has the ambitious goal of making synchronous conversations a core part of the Reddit community experience. We believe that giving users a more casual way to communicate will unlock new ways for communities to grow.

  • Communicate effectively, within the team and across disciplines. Work closely with engineers, product managers and designers to ensure a good user experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA experience doing manual testing and working on tests automation
  • Experience in developing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using XCTest/Swift or Espresso/Kotlin
