About the role

We’re looking for a Procure to Pay (P2P) Manager here at Rippling. This role will play a critical role as a core member of the Source to Pay/Procurement team. This person will govern and actively drive P2P design, process improvement, execution and change management on a global level.

At Rippling, this team resides in the Finance organization and is a high visibility function that supports Rippling in navigating and managing its spend with external vendors and partners. This role will work across all functions and all levels of the organization with the autonomy to create change and drive work product.

What you will do
  • Reimagine our P2P process and be tasked with executing on a new design that will ensure a smooth user experience and that will significantly impact and support business, finance and accounting teams through accuracy and meaningful dashboards

  • Be a primary stakeholder in the systems used to support the function as well as be a key player responsible for its implementations, changes and reporting.

  • Continually look for efficiencies and automation wherever possible.

  • Create and build knowledge articles on internal processes and evangelize them for the broader Rippling community.

  • Partner with other members of the Procurement team to develop channel buying opportunities for transactional commodities.

  • Partner with legal, compliance, security and other relevant teams to ensure the Procurement processes incorporate their needs and protect Rippling

  • Work closely with the Treasury team and the Accounting team on payment controls and month end close processes.

  • Track and report on various aspects of Procure to Pay globally.

  • Be willing to be hands on within procurement or accounts payable to support the bandwidth of the team wherever or whenever necessary.

What you will need
  • 7+ years’ experience in combination between procurement and accounts payable (SaaS experience is highly preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, other business disciplines, supply chain, or equivalent degrees.

  • Demonstrated experience and achievement managing the day to day processes for Procure to Pay on a global level.

  • Solid understanding SOX compliance and the required segregation of duties required within the process.

  • Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Proven ability to drive positive change and build strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams

  • Experience with Procure to Pay systems as a user and as an administrator

  • Self-starter who can find ways to leverage processes, systems and tools to scale efficiencies.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
