About the role
After becoming one of the fastest growing startups in the United States ($0 → $11B) Rippling is setting its sights on international markets across EMEA and APAC to scale to the next level.
That’s where you come in.
As our Head of International Growth, you’ll lead our growth marketing efforts as we scale beyond the United States. You’ll develop a repeatable playbook for driving demand in new markets, and partner with sales to build pipeline outside the US. You and your team will deploy a multi-million dollar budget to maximize both ARR and CAC efficiency.
This role sits at the forefront of Rippling’s efforts to go global, and is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to go both from 0>1, then achieve IPO scale.

This role is based in our San Francisco or New York office.
What you will do
- Drive pipeline for our international sales teams. Your team will run campaigns and experiments across multiple channels to hit aggressive pipeline targets.
- Build a playbook for each country. You’ll work closely with sales to build a repeatable demand generation playbook for each country Rippling serves.
- Build and mentor a world-class team that can operate with significant autonomy. You’ll manage Growth Leads across each country we operate in, who in turn will build their own teams over time.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to execute complex cross-functional initiatives that move the business forward.
- Constantly innovate and push the envelope, moving beyond typical B2B marketing playbooks to unlock scale and ROI.
What you will need
- A hacker’s mentality. You obsess over finding novel ways to hit goals—even when the conventional wisdom says you’re wrong.
- 7+ years of experience in growth, finance, consulting, general management, or product. Operating experience is required.
- Experience in opening new markets. International preferred, but open to domestic for the right candidate.
- Experience building teams that consistently hit ambitious targets. You maintain a high-performance culture that attracts and nurtures top talent.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity. You know where we need to go, but recognize it won’t always be a straight path to get there.
- Strong attention to detail. You can dive into the weeds with your team and pick up on the seemingly small, yet important, details.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves. We’re still a startup, and will expect you to roll up your sleeves and work hard to provide feedback and get the job done.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll regularly communicate directly with executives and other senior leaders.
- Bias for speed. We move very quickly, and will expect you to set a similar pace for your team.
