About the role
The SDR role at Rippling provides a unique opportunity - we're looking for talented, ambitious SDRs who can manage high-velocity top-of-funnel sales qualification, while also navigating a very strategic sales process.
As an Outbound Channel SDR, your key responsibility is researching and identifying potential channel partners aligned with our business goals. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our market reach through effective engagement with potential channel partners. Your proactive approach, strong communication skills, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will drive revenue growth. We believe in promoting from within and providing transparent career paths for your professional growth.
What you'll do
  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitor landscape
  • Channel Partner Identification: Research and pinpoint potential partners aligned with business goals.
  • Outbound Outreach: Execute strategic cold-calls, craft compelling emails, and leverage LinkedIn to initiate contact, presenting Rippling's value proposition.
  • Sales Qualification: Apply proven methodologies to qualify potential partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Metrics Tracking: Maintain precise records of partner interactions in the CRM system. Track and report daily KPIs for outbound initiative success.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in outbound sales development or channel partner management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work cross functionally among different teams at Rippling
  • Desire to join competitive team based environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
  • Knowledge of HRIS and understanding of partner ecosystems is a plus

Rippling highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. For office-based employees (employees who live within a 40 mile radius of a Rippling office), Rippling considers working in the office, at least three days a week under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role.

This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On-Target Earnings* for US-based employees will be 70/30 commission split for base/variable pay.
