About the role
We're seeking a Manager to lead our SDR Enablement team, which is composed of talented enablement program managers. This team is tasked with supporting a 450 employee SDR organization that drives all top-of-funnel growth for Rippling's revenue engine. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive onboarding programs for new inbound and outbound SDRs, conducting sales skills-focused training sessions, and building robust training programs. Additionally, you will create and maintain sales playbooks to document best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role will involve close collaboration with key sales stakeholders, including the VP of SDR to ensure alignment and effectiveness.

What you will do
- Manage a team of enablement program managers dedicated to supporting a high-performing SDR organization.
- Design and deliver sales skills training sessions that enhance the capabilities of SDRs and drive top-of-funnel growth.
- Create and update sales playbooks, documenting best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Roll out SDR leadership training and development programs to improve the proficiency of our leadership ranks
- Collaborate with key sales stakeholders, including VPs of SDR segments, to align enablement efforts with organizational goals and strategies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of enablement programs, using data to drive continuous improvement and maximize impact.
- Stay up to date with the changing landscape of outbound sales, including technological advancements and process-driven trends, to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge.
- Coach and mentor your team, fostering a culture of high performance and professional growth.
- Engage in high-visibility projects, providing hands-on support to ensure successful execution and outcomes.
What you will need
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Sales Enablement, or a related field, with a strong focus on SDR functions.
- 2+ years of experience managing teams, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
- Expertise in SDR cold call best practices and the ability to distill complex topics into accessible, sales-consumable training assets.
- Experience in rolling out at-scale enablement programs and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong program management skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An ongoing commitment to learning, with an ability to adapt to the rapidly changing market landscape, including new technologies and sales methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Enablement program design - you’ve built thoughtful, elegant programs that have served hundreds of SDRs to overachieve their targets
- Analytical skills to leverage data for decision-making and program improvement.
