Job Description

As the first Product Marketing hire, you'll be responsible for Runway’s go-to-market strategy. You’ll spearhead a high-performing team to deliver messaging, competitive analysis, and exceptional sales enablement—through the respected and award-winning brand and Runway vibe. You’ll also manage analyst relations, lead technical content creation, and ensure high-impact product launches. In partnership with the Product team, you’ll drive efforts around pricing, packaging and strategy, , and partner with the Customer Experience Team to educate current customers about current and future Runway use cases and features.

What will you be doing?

Drive product marketing efforts, including positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategy, storytelling, and product launches; support integrated marketing and demand campaigns
Define and communicate value propositions that differentiate Runway
Build strong relationships with Runway GTM, Product and Design leaders, key partners, and analysts
Oversee and produce exceptional external-facing content including core collateral, customer stories, webinars, e-books, videos, and more
Promote strong feedback loops with the product, sales, and customer success teams to craft compelling stories
Enable the sales team on customer use cases, Runway values propositions, and market trends and dynamics
Partner with leadership to create and maintain content on our website

Who are we looking for?

5+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise SaaS and/or are familiar with finance technologies, products and services
Strong leadership skills - able to influence, set goals, communicate, and drive projects across cross-functional teams and the company
You love creating narratives, you excel at crafting messaging that resonates, and you take the extra steps to deeply understand customer pain points and use cases.
You are energized by leading great teams, and you inspire others.
Experience at crafting clever, attention-grabbing content, while also driving it home with the goods — technical analysis, guidance, and how-to details that are actually useful and build trust with our key audiences
Curiosity and empathy, and a willingness to directly contribute to projects
Data-driven mindset and strategic problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to execute cross-functionally with sales, marketing and product organizations
Experience driving a product launch end-to-end
Experience with public speaking and presenting
Knowledge about FP&A, including financial modeling, scenario planning and ERP is preferred.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$225,000 + generous early employee equity + benefits. The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills (as uncovered during the interview process), experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or potential performance related bonuses.
