About the role:
It is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role within the Cost of Sales team in Finance Operations. As a Senior Analyst, you will assist Assistant Manager and Senior Manager with the completeness and accuracy of our pay-in and pay-out partner costs and rebates, month end close process, managing of audit requests related to this area, as well as providing support for the analyst(s) in the team. You will also be responsible for investigating items and variances with internal and external parties. You will demonstrate the continuous improvement behaviors and mindset, adding value to processes and automating them.

What you will own:
Reporting to the Cost of Sales Assistant Manager, you will:
- Prepare monthly commission, costs and rebate calculations in line with the processes and controls in place
- Review monthly commission, costs and rebate calculations prepared by analyst(s)
- Identify, investigate and resolve any variances or enquiries, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Post or review of Month End journals as required
- Review and improve the design of current processes, identifying and working towards automations and greater efficiencies
- Develop and implement a robust control framework
- Prepare or update detailed process documentation for assigned accounts
- Collaborate and support the wider Finance team where needed
- Assist with the preparation of accounting papers with respect to approaches taken
- Assist Assistant Manager with providing insightful commentary and analysis on the monthly movements in the Cost of Revenue accounts
What you bring to the table:
- Degree or equivalent in a finance or business related discipline is desirable
- 2+ years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis roles
- Experience in optimizing, accelerating and automating finance processes
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills; both written and verbal
- Independence in identifying and solving problems
- Continuous improvement and automation mindset
- A flexible individual who enjoys working in a changing environment, with an enjoyment of problem-solving and a strong analytical mindset
