What you'll do:
- Be an integral part of our mission-oriented pods, taking ownership of product lines and collaborating within a dynamic, cross-functional team.
- Regularly engage with users and clients to gather direct feedback, integrating this input into developing intuitive and cohesive user interfaces alongside product designers and backend engineers.
- Build and maintain sophisticated frontend applications using React and TypeScript, crafting responsive, user-friendly web experiences that meet Silo's high standards.
- Translate complex design concepts into practical, accessible web applications, managing project priorities and deliverables to align with user needs and mission-driven goals.
What We Look For:
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
- Proficiency in React & TypeScript, and a solid understanding of web development fundamentals.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and directly engaging with users or clients.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through personal projects or startup experience.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
Bonus points for:
- Building and maintaining React component libraries.
- Familiarity with REST- or GraphQL-based API integration.
- A strong sense for UI/UX design principles.
- This is a remote position for candidates based in North America, with offices in San Francisco and New York City.
