What you'll do:

  • Be an integral part of our mission-oriented pods, taking ownership of product lines and collaborating within a dynamic, cross-functional team.
  • Regularly engage with users and clients to gather direct feedback, integrating this input into developing intuitive and cohesive user interfaces alongside product designers and backend engineers.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated frontend applications using React and TypeScript, crafting responsive, user-friendly web experiences that meet Silo's high standards.
  • Translate complex design concepts into practical, accessible web applications, managing project priorities and deliverables to align with user needs and mission-driven goals.

What We Look For:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
  • Proficiency in React & TypeScript, and a solid understanding of web development fundamentals.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and directly engaging with users or clients.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through personal projects or startup experience.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Bonus points for:

  • Building and maintaining React component libraries.
  • Familiarity with REST- or GraphQL-based API integration.
  • A strong sense for UI/UX design principles.

Work Environment:

  • This is a remote position for candidates based in North America, with offices in San Francisco and New York City.
