Spate is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Representative with 1-2 years of direct sales or account management experience to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual with proven sales experience and a passion for driving growth in the SaaS space. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy, building relationships, and managing the sales process from start to finish. If you have a foundation in sales, especially in SaaS, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Having a background in beauty, wellness, CPG or food & bev is a plus but not required.

About the Role:

As our Sales Development Representative at Spate, you'll be at the forefront of our growth engine, driving new business opportunities and cultivating relationships that lead to valuable sales conversations. Your role will be pivotal in shaping how we connect with potential clients and expand our reach. By working closely with our Sales Team Lead, you'll contribute to the strategic outreach that propels our business forward. Your proactive approach and ability to qualify and nurture leads will be instrumental in fueling our growth and helping Spate achieve its ambitious targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and qualify new leads to generate opportunities and sales pipeline
  • Move leads through the funnel connecting them to other sales team member or by taking the meeting
  • Research and create outreach materials
  • Execute outbound sales communication
  • Follow-up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not initially result in a sales opportunity
  • Consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system and support weekly reporting efforts
  • Collaborate and provide feedback and insights to the Product & Marketing team
  • If needed provide support in managing client relationships and post-deal processes (invoices, onboarding, training…)
