The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of world-class content that fuels our customer acquisition and expansion programs and brings TRM's brand narrative to life. You will toggle your time between acting as maestro of the content engine – providing strategic recommendations and structure to maximize high-quality production, and jumping in as a content staffer – hopping into a draft, asking questions to understand the material, and cranking out a stellar concluding paragraph. This is a Senior/Staff role (an individual contributor, non-people manager role).

What you'll be doing at TRM:

  • Define the strategy for how TRM’s Marketing, Communications, Sales, Policy, Training, and other teams can best utilize content to advance our shared Growth and Brand objectives
  • Orchestrate production of best-in-class content, including managing delivery dates, briefing contributors, liaising with Design, fulfilling translation requirements, and other components of an efficient, scalable content engine
  • Partner with SMEs to concept, outline, and edit content pieces including articles, guides, white papers, webinars, infographics, case studies, videos etc.; serve as the primary author for areas of our content portfolio as needed
  • Implement tools and processes – with support from Demand Generation and Ops teams – that enables reporting and analysis on the effectiveness of different content topics, formats, themes and promotional channels in achieving campaign and brand objectives, including SEO
  • Create style guides and frameworks that help others bring the TRM voice to life with consistency and clarity

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B content marketing or related experience. Professional experience working for a fintech, regtech, or security firm or other industries that serve public sector audiences a plus
  • Experience developing quality content for various formats, channels and audiences
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills. You love to write and workshop others’ ideas or rough outlines, and don’t mind spending time putting pen to paper
  • Experience developing and measuring the success of content strategies for growth-obsessed technology companies or challenger brands
  • The ability to distill difficult concepts for different audiences, whether that’s a founder of a 5-person startup or a VP at a Fortune 500 company
  • A startup mentality with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $154,000 - $200,000
  • Additionally, this role may be eligible to participate in TRM’s equity plan
  • Please note – we factor in the different costs for geographies outside the United States
