The Card Operations Associate plays an important role in managing core operational responsibilities that keep our card business running smoothly. As a Card Operations Associate, you’ll work collaboratively to support our customers through great operations management, and to ensure True Link continues to deliver world-class financial services.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and execute a wide range of recurring operational processes related to our customers’ card accounts, including funds transfers, card ordering, ACH return handling, fraud prevention and investigations, account closings, and more

  • Process weekday card funding on Pacific time zone, which includes reviewing customer account details and daily card funding requests, and accurately and successfully submit all funding files

  • Analyze daily reporting and use True Link and third party tools to conduct transaction monitoring and investigate other flagged activity, and determine required next steps

  • Collaborate with team members across our customer support, operations, and account management teams, and with external vendors

  • Identify and help implement enhancements to internal processes, striving for increased operational effectiveness and efficiency

  • Execute ad hoc special projects and initiatives, such as troubleshooting direct deposit delays, tracking funding transfers, preparing special reporting requests, and generating bulk funding templates

  • Build expertise and cultivate good judgment within multiple areas of True Link’s card operations

  • This is a 40-hour per week role, Monday through Friday, with the day typically ending around 5:30pm Pacific and periodically ending at 7pm Pacific

Who You Are

  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services operations at a fintech company, technology startup, bank, and/or credit union

  • High conscientiousness and detail orientation in all facets of work

  • Organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high level of independence

  • Interested in or has experience with process improvement for back-office operations, ideally in a financial services environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with customers, vendors, and internal teams

  • Strong judgment and structured decision-making skills

  • Very comfortable using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workplace, and adept at learning and using new software tools

  • Great team player and motivated to have an impact on True Link’s customers

  • You must be authorized to work in the United States and available to work Pacific Time hours
